Making the decision to come to therapy can be a difficult one. We often have lots of questions about what to expect, what it might be like and whether we even need it. I understand this experience as I have been there myself, so I aim to provide a warm, welcoming and understanding environment to make this process as manageable as possible for you. The focus of my practice is in providing a safe, understanding and unconditional space for us to explore the current difficulties that you may be experiencing. I work relationally with my clients which means that I believe that our relationship is the therapeutic vehicle.
I am an integrative therapist, which means that I draw on many different approaches and theoretical models. We are unique and there is no 'right way' to work with someone. As I begin to understand clients' specific needs, I work with the approach or approaches that best suits their process. I have helped many of my clients to work through their behaviours, thoughts and feelings, which has enabled them to live a more content and secure life. By exploring how we currently navigate through life and understand how life is impacting on us, we can identify the areas that are holding us back and work together on changing them. |
